Banks are now asking surveyors to share their opinions and advice about suitability if sites that are to be converted to wind farms. The main concerned issues are performance of wind turbines, construction, overall planning and development of the wind projects.
According to the surveyors, there is an increase in the demand for freehold and leasehold valuations for sites which are considered as the future sites that are most suitable for generate renewable energy. It is expected that the valuation done by the surveyors should be transparent, reliable. It should also provide an extra reassurance to financial supporters who will be lending on the premise that valuations stimulating further growth in the market. This will encourage the users and practitioners while serving the best to the interest of clients, the officials say.
